Terms of Service
Last updated: June 16, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Permia platform at permia.io and its control-plane API at api.permia.io (the "Service"), operated by Permia ("Permia", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
1. The Service
Permia is an integration gateway that lets AI agents, IDEs, and applications reach the third-party tools you connect through a single, scoped, audited endpoint. Permia acts on your behalf only to the extent you authorize, using the OAuth scopes and per-agent policies you configure.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account and under the scoped keys and agents you create, including the actions your agents take through the Service.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
3. Connected providers
When you connect a third-party provider (such as Google, GitHub, or Slack), you authorize Permia to access that provider on your behalf within the scopes you approve. Your use of each provider remains subject to that provider's own terms and policies. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to connect and access the accounts and data you link, and for the scopes you grant to your agents.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- violate any law or the terms of any connected provider;
- access, store, or process data you are not authorized to access, or infringe the rights of others;
- attempt to breach, probe, or circumvent the Service's security, tenant isolation, or rate limits, or access another tenant's data;
- disrupt or overburden the Service, or use it to distribute malware or conduct abuse; or
- resell or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted.
5. Your data and content
You retain all rights to your data and to the content Permia accesses from your connected providers. You grant Permia the limited rights needed to operate the Service for you — to store your credentials securely and to route authorized tool calls. Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Service changes and availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. The Service is provided on an ongoing basis but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may perform maintenance that temporarily limits availability.
7. Fees
Where the Service or specific features are offered for a fee, the applicable pricing and payment terms will be presented to you before you incur charges. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Permia is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party providers you connect.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Permia will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Permia harmless from claims and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. On termination, your stored credentials and account data are purged as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and the courts located there will have jurisdiction over disputes, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
